The 4 elements of Metaphorhyme

Metaphorhyme is poetry+music+elements of Hiphop rap mold into one. Take four talented artists with big dreams and fiery passion for music, you get all four elements: Rodj Young is fire, Fron is water, Karmaryme is earth and Rachel is air. Optimistic to prove themselves with their interest in hiphop-rap music, this group of friends who transformed their hobby into something exciting by forming an entertainment team is pursuing music production, recording, local music tours and even co-producing their own music videos soon. Choosing and entrusting their new career direction with RSLPhoenix Music, the group is keeping their dreams alive and kicking with great ideas on how to elevate local music.
Rodj Young represents FIRE in the team. His imagination burst like wildfire while his lyrical poetry is burning with strong emotion and opinions that will give their audience and listeners a reason to come back for more with their unique brand of music. He is versatile with his musical inclinations – he can rap like heaven and hell rolled into one, he can sing and belt like a passionate RnB pop artist craving for attention and his dance moves can talk physical poetry, artistic enough to say he’s another rip-off from the “Step up” film franchise (kidding). Rodj represents two words in the team: direction and style. He is the creative lifeblood of Metaphorhyme.
Fron is considered as the group’s suave guy. He acts like WATER when he does his thing onstage or in recording. He loves to rap like water that flows through his thoughts, run through his veins and performs smoothly in front of a big crowd. Fron is a silent type of guy but when he start doing his rapping, he’s expressing strong messages and undeniable appeal.
Karmarhyme can be like EARTH, rooted on the ground but capable of releasing strong energy and presence onstage. He is a creative and lyrical poet by nature without giving excuses about his opinions. He can write songs and lyrics like there’s no tomorrow. If he can be both like Chris Brown and Chingy all rolled into one, then this rap artist is an important element of Metaphorhyme bounded for success.
Rachel is the group’s breathing element, the AIR that shows the sweet and soft side of Metaphorhyme. Her vocal style is often tagged as sweet, sultry and appealing. Not to mention her angelic face and undeniable charm, she gives the group the edge to be noticed by the male species. Of course, her stage presence and her talent to write songs are big plus that will add to the group’s promising pathway in local music.
2014 promises to be a year for the group to prove their elemental prowess and strong presence as a rap group with a twist of RnB music and pop. Before summer this year, they are set to release for radio air-play two brand new original singles – the Ilonggo song “Mary Jane” and Tagalog inspirational song “LIPAD”- both with cutting-edge and artistic music videos co-produced by Hampang Productions and RSLPhoenix Music. An exclusive local clothing line for the group is also coming to spread music, urban fashion and inspiration.
Metaphorhyme is here to stay, so stay positive and keep the cool vibes alive.
